Serena Lienau is the Administrative Services Officer for the City of Santa Rosa’s Planning & Economic Development Department where she manages the finances and human resources, while conducting systems analyses, program development, and providing mentoring and professional development opportunities for City employees. She has worked for the City for nearly 20 years, with previous roles including the Santa Rosa Violence Prevention Partnership, Office of Community Engagement, City Manager’s Office, and Recreation & Parks. Serena has a passion for serving the community and has served on the Board of Director’s for the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County since 2013 and the Northern California Advisory Committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2017. Serena has a Master’s Degree in Organization Development and Bachelor’s Degree from Sonoma State University. She lives in Santa Rosa with her husband and two young boys.
