CVNL Earth Day Projects in Marin, 10+ volunteer opportunities in April

CVNL and the My Earth Day Marin Coalition invite everyone to celebrate Earth Day

Volunteer at a service project during Earth Day weekend, April 22-24

The My Earth Day Marin Coalition, founded in 2008 by the Marin County Parks and Open Space District, the City of San Rafael Volunteer Program, the San Rafael Clean Program, CVNL, and the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program, has sought to increase the number of service projects in Marin, encourage community involvement, and improve and protect Marin’s beautiful, natural environment by coordinating projects such as cleaning litter, removing invasive plants, removing graffiti, and restoring trails, watersheds, and other sensitive habitat areas.

This year, CVNL’s Volunteer Portal is listing all My Earth Day Marin projects.

The My Earth Day Marin Coalition hopes that these Earth Day celebrations and projects give volunteers a greater understanding of, and appreciation for, the incredible land and wildlife of Marin County that benefits people who live in our community.

Let it rain, let it pour, let the sun rise and roar, whatever the weather we are here to serve, to celebrate, nurture, preserve and observe, the endless wonders of earth! – Marin County Park Ranger Kirk Schroeder
