At CVNL’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) for nonprofit professionals, leaders in nonprofit organizations gain a greater awareness of their leadership and management style as well as additional skills that all talent need to help them and their organizations succeed. But don’t take it from us. I did not know what to expect from ELP but I was excited for the training. After going through the training I will say that every leader, manager or person hoping to become upper management should take the program. This program helps shed light on the intricate details of operating an organization. There were so many helpful courses but my favorites were branding, donor cultivation and the breakout sessions where we were able to engage with other working professionals. After this program my understanding of operating and leading a nonprofit has increased.
