Agency: The 10,000 Degrees Academic Support Program in Marin helps to prepare students for success by placing volunteer tutors in highest-need classrooms on more than 20 kindergarten through 12th-grade public school campuses.

Quote: “Ted is an incredibly compassionate man who offers an invaluable service to my students,” says Brain McCoy, sixth- grade teacher at Hamilton Meadow Park School in Novato. “Ted explains the math in a number of different ways, so that all students can obtain a deeper understanding of the concepts. Hamilton is very lucky to have Ted in our community.”
