Announce Fall 2025 Nominees
Five nominees will be recognized at the October 8th Celebration of Philanthropy
MARIN COUNTY, CA, 9/25/25 – Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is pleased to announce the nominees for the 100MARIN Fall 2025 Celebration of Philanthropy:
Sanzuma: Sanzuma works to end food insecurity by transforming school meals with freshly grown, organic produce from their own urban farm. Through hands-on education, nutrition programs, and farm-to-cafeteria initiatives, they empower children and communities to grow, cook, and enjoy healthy food while building long-term resilience.
Center for Domestic Peace: Center for Domestic Peace leads a comprehensive community effort to end domestic violence in Marin County, offering emergency shelter, legal advocacy, and counseling for survivors. Through prevention programs, education, and mobilizing allies, they work to transform communities so domestic violence no longer exists.
Marin Foster Care Association: The Marin Foster Care Association provides critical support to children in foster care and the families who care for them, ensuring stability during times of profound crisis. By offering resources, advocacy, and community connection, they help transform hardship into healing and hope.
Enriching Lives through Music (ELM): ELM provides youth with immersive, tuition-free music education combined with academic and social support that nurtures confidence and creativity. By breaking down barriers to arts access, ELM empowers students to pursue their dreams and transform their futures through the power of music.
EAH Housing: EAH Housing develops, manages, and preserves affordable housing for low-income families, seniors, veterans, and individuals with special needs across California and Hawai‘i. Beyond providing homes, they foster healthy, inclusive communities where residents can access resources, stability, and opportunities to thrive.
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Marin Humane, nominees will share their missions and funding needs with the 100MARIN giving circle. Members will then vote to select the nonprofit recipient of the pooled donation. All nominees will be honored at the event, with consolation awards provided to those not chosen as the primary recipient.
“Thanks to the generosity of 100MARIN members and sponsors, we’re able to provide crucial funding to local nonprofits,” said Linda Jacobs, CEO at CVNL. “This event highlights the power of collective giving, where individual contributions come together to create lasting change and strengthen the nonprofits that are the backbone of our community.”
The evening will also feature local wines and cuisine by Il Davide, offering attendees a chance to enjoy community connection while making a significant difference for Marin nonprofits. Community members are encouraged to join 100MARIN so they can attend the event and take part in voting for the recipient.
Founded in 2015, the 100MARIN Giving Circle is a network of 151 members passionate about supporting local nonprofits. By pooling contributions starting at $150, 100MARIN has donated more than $390,000 to organizations serving Marin County.
