Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership Launches Search for Next Chief Executive Officer
San Rafael, CA, March 4, 2026 — Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) has officially launched the search for its next Chief Executive Officer, marking an exciting opportunity for visionary leaders in the nonprofit sector. This signifies a pivotal moment as CVNL ushers in a new era of growth, innovation, and impact across Marin, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties.
CVNL is on the lookout for a dynamic, values-driven leader to guide the organization into its next chapter. The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in overseeing a comprehensive suite of services that support nonprofits and volunteers, including leadership development, board training, nonprofit consulting, executive search, volunteer mobilization, natural disaster response, and paratransit services.
Key priorities for the next leader will include diversifying revenue streams and growing revenue, fostering a unified identity for CVNL’s operations across the four counties, and strategically positioning the organization as a cutting-edge leader in nonprofit capacity building. CVNL seeks someone with strategic vision, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to serving the North Bay community.
