Dare to Lead™

CVNL is proud to present Dare to Lead training, provided by Certified Instructor Ana Estrada Daniels. This training is based on Dr. Brene’ Brown’s seminal work and latest book, where she masterfully applies her research to the art of leading people.

According to Dr. Brene’ Brown, researcher and the author of the best-selling book Dare to Lead – Brave Work, Tough Conversations, Whole Hearts, “Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up.”

Training Details:

  • Days/Times TBD in Fall 2020 (16 hours of training delivered ONLINE in half-day sessions.
  • Training will also be available  in the Fall and face-to-face in Marin and Sonoma counties in the Spring 2021.
  • Partial scholarships are available based on need.
  • Tuition includes: All materials, including a workbook, handouts and additional web tools. Participants must have a reliable internet connection, access to Zoom and a web camera.
  • There is a simple application process. The online training is limited to 25 people for Fall delivery and face-to-face delivery is limited to 16 people or 10 with social distancing.

Meet your instructor, Ana Estrada Daniels

With over twenty years of experience, Ana successfully works with individuals, teams, and organizations to develop their capacity to lead and influence at all levels. The drive behind her work is a desire to create equitable environments where all people have the opportunity to thrive. Ana’s focus is on shifting mindsets, practices, and systems within the social sector to increase racial equity.

Ana has worked with organizations such as the Association of California Colleges and Universities, Corporation for National and Community Service, University of Southern California, and Sierra Health Foundation. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
