Karissa Moreno was recognized with a nonprofit leadership award by the North Bay Business Journal in 2020. She holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara and a Master's in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. With two decades of nonprofit management experience, including ten years at federally qualified health centers, Karissa is a leader in addressing health disparities and structural inequities. She champions community health worker training, clinical integration, and workforce development. Karissa is dedicated to creating an inclusive organizational culture and is passionate about innovative well-care practices.
