Full Job Description
Job Summary: The Human Resource Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of
the human resources function within the organization. This role ensures the development and
implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s business goals. The HR
Director will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance
management to create a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization’s overall
business strategy.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and legally compliant work environment.
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Lead performance management and employee development initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll in collaboration with the finance department.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
• Foster a culture of engagement, motivation, and high performance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational change and development.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
• Oversee HR technology systems to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
• Experience with Paylocity preferred.

Work Environment:
Office setting with occasional travel for recruitment, training, or industry events.
