Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership Announces New Scholarships for Nonprofit Leadership Training

Supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Managers and Executives Serving Marin-Based Organizations 

SAN RAFAEL, CA, February 4, 2022 – Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is pleased to announce scholarships for its Learning & Leadership 2022 programs. Thanks to a grant from the County of Marin, CVNL is offering a limited number of scholarships to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who are leaders or managers of nonprofit organizations based in or serving Marin. 

CEO Linda Jacobs expressed her appreciation to the County, saying   “We are grateful to receive this timely support from the County of Marin. It is an important step in increasing equitable access and inclusive opportunities for BIPOC nonprofit leaders in Marin.” 

A limited number of $400 scholarship awards are available for CVNL’s cohort programs: 

  • Management Essentials – Spring and Summer series for new managers and those seeking to improve team performance.
