CVNL Placement Announcement: Giulietta Camden Named Director of Finance with Marin Child Care Council

Marin Child Care Council is delighted to announce the selection of Giulietta Camden as its new Director of Finance. Giulietta will be responsible for the organization’s overall financial operations and development during this exciting next stage of growth. Giulietta’s position began on January 30, 2017.

Giulietta brings more than 25 years’ of experience in the accounting and finance world, recently working as an Auditor with Randolph Scott & Co, CPA. Over the years, she has helped for-profit companies and local government entities implement their accounting and auditing systems, aligning with laws, regulations, and policies. Prior to that, Giulietta was working with the CA Department of Education managing all aspects of their grant processes. Giulietta has a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration/Accounting Emphasis at Sonoma State University.

Founded in 1979, Marin Child Care Council is a 501(C)(3) non-profit agency that offers a variety of services for parents, child care providers and the community that are essential to the delivery of quality child care in Marin County. Its mission is to improve the availability, accessibility and affordability of quality childcare by:

I. Increasing the supply of affordable, quality childcare in Marin County that meets parental needs;
II. Improving stakeholder access to high quality information about childcare; and
III. Supporting families enrolled in the subsidy program in their efforts to achieve self-sufficiency.

With a focus on competency, respect, integrity, and compassion, Marin Child Care Council contributes to the quality of life in the Marin community by providing leadership and support towards creating a comprehensive system whereby people can make informed decisions about their childcare. Marin Child Care Council also advocates for full funding of childcare subsidies for all eligible families.
