Whether you are entering a management role for the first time or have been managing people for years, this session will provide a helpful framework. Learn about the unique role of manager and gain knowledge about management principles, management and leadership styles, and how emotional intelligence supports performance.Register for Day 1 Only

3/10/2022, 9am-12pm - Day 2: Engaging Meaningfully with Employees  

Transparent and authentic communication is the best way to build trust, motivate and engage employees. This includes giving and receiving feedback, setting clear goals, and measuring performance. This session will also include HR Fundamentals for managers.Register for Day 2 Only

3/16/2022, 9am-12pm - Day 3: Managing for Equity and Inclusion

Today’s workplace demands managers who are conscious, competent, and strategic in diversity, inclusion and equity principles and practices. This session will enhance your awareness and provide management concepts that create an environment of support and belonging for all your employees. Register for Day 3 Only

3/24/2022, 9am-12pm - Day 4: Applying the Skills – The Manager's Toolkit  

This session will focus on applying management concepts and tools to real scenarios with a focus on effective problem-solving, leading with compassion and empathy, team-building, collaboration, delegation, and more. This session is only available as part of the full series.

3/31/2022, 9am-12pm - Day 5: Manager as Coach 

Explore the manager’s role as coach and how to build a coaching culture and practice within your team. Learn coaching approaches and the art of powerful questions. Register for Day 5 Only
