CVNL Volunteers Drive Success at the 30th Annual One Mind Music Festival for Brain Health
CVNL is proud to have played a key role in the success of the 30th Annual One Mind Music Festival for Brain Health. Our team managed the recruitment and logistics for 70 dedicated volunteers who were essential to the event’s smooth operation.
Held on September 7, 2024, in Napa, the festival celebrated 30 years of mental health research and raised a record-breaking $3.56 million to support One Mind’s mission of advancing brain health. High-profile supporters, including Governor Gavin Newsom and Congressman Mike Thompson, joined the event, with a special performance by singer-songwriter Elle King.
One Mind’s impact is significant: they’ve funded 48 pioneering scholars, launched 21 mental health startups, and improved the lives of over 30 million people worldwide. The Science & Innovation Symposium showcased rising stars in the field, with Dr. Susan Coller Monarez delivering the keynote address.
Our volunteers contributed to seamless event logistics, from guest services to assisting at the VIP dinner by two-time James Beard Award-winning Chef Paul Bartolotta. Their work was vital in supporting the event’s goal of advancing mental health research and advocacy.
We’re honored to have partnered with One Mind in this landmark event. Together, we’re driving change in mental health research and strengthening nonprofit leadership through collaboration and community engagement. We look forward to continuing this important work with One Mind and other organizations dedicated to improving mental health.
