Brian Wallace

Brian Wallace is a Driver and part-time Driver-Trainer with Sonoma County Paratransit (CVNL). His journey from retirement to active work is a testament to his sense of purpose and fulfillment. He loves his job of driving around Sonoma County and helping people in his community.

Brian has raised two children: his 24-year-old son, who graduated from UC Davis last May, is working towards becoming an aspiring Pediatrician, and his 21-year-old daughter is a server and bookkeeper at the famous Cattleman’s in Petaluma. Before coming to CVNL, Brian was a tow truck driver and manager for 36 years and then owned Sebastopol Tow for 15 years. He thought he was ready for retirement, but after three years off the road, he missed interacting with the public and joined CVNL’s Sonoma County Paratransit Team.

“I checked out the mission statement and found that employee retention was higher than most places, so I applied……the rest is history.”  In his spare time, Brian also owns a successful travel trailer delivery company he has run as a side business for the past 12 years.
