MARIN COUNTY, CA, September 25, 2024 – Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is thrilled to announce that Love is the Answer (LITA) has been selected as the recipient of the $25,000 award at the 100MARIN Fall 2024 Celebration of Philanthropy. Held on Wednesday, September 18, at the Mill Valley Community Center, 100MARIN members voted LITA as the top nonprofit honoree, recognizing their impactful work in fostering personal connections and supporting seniors in long-term care facilities.

At the event, five Marin nonprofits — Marin Humane, 10,000 Degrees, Bridge the Gap, Love is the Answer (LITA), and Marin Villages — were honored. Along with the premier award recipient, each nominee received a $1,000 cash award.
Founded in 2015, the 100MARIN Giving Circle is a network of approximately 151 members passionate about supporting local nonprofits. By pooling contributions starting at $150, 100MARIN has donated over $390,000 to Marin County nonprofits.
