We want to hear from you.

Complete or share our survey, “State of the Nonprofit Sector in the Bay Area”

Hello Nonprofit Leaders,

Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is conducting a survey to compile key trends and indicators regarding the “State of the Nonprofit Sector in the Bay Area” during the COVID-19 crisis, BLM Movement, and what’s predicted to be the worst fire season on record. Nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers are doing heroic work while facing numerous challenges. We know organizations are struggling with various aspects of our current environment and projections for the future.

We believe our collective work as a sector along with that of funders and partners will be best accomplished with data. The results of this survey will be shared with you and used to inform the community about current trends as well as needed guidance and support that will help ensure a strong nonprofit sector into the future. It also gives us an opportunity to highlight success stories and areas of hope.

This is a confidential survey. Raw data will only be seen by CVNL staff. The results will be aggregated and a non-attributable summary report will be posted on our website, distributed to local funders and leaders, and provided to all survey participants.

Please share information as candidly as possible. The Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director or Human Resource staff are the target respondents. We encourage you to collaborate with your team in answering the questions and then submit only one survey per organization.

This survey will take 10-14 minutes to complete. Please complete no later than Monday, August 3. We appreciate your time.

CVNL stands with the nonprofit community in providing capacity-building support that enables you to lead your organization in meeting its vision, mission, and goals (learn more). We are stronger together.

Sincerely,
Linda Jacobs, CEO
