CVNL Joins Forces with 100MARIN Giving Circle,

Event Scheduled for October 6th

Local nonprofits will be celebrated, and thousands of dollars awarded

Marin County, 9/24/21 – 100MARIN and Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) are partnering in 2021 to support and enhance awareness of Marin County’s diverse community of nonprofits.

The event happens on Wednesday, October 6th, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Bill & Adele Jonas Center, College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato. It will be an evening of food, wine, and philanthropy, where at the end a deserving local nonprofit will receive a financial award.

Since 2015 100MARIN – founded by a group of like-minded business professionals – has developed a strong network of individuals who are passionate about local nonprofits and their causes. This successful, collaborative philanthropic group – now nearly 300 strong – leverages small individual donations to make a more substantial cumulative impact.

CVNL has advanced nonprofits and volunteerism by strengthening leadership, encouraging innovation, and empowering individuals in the community for nearly 60 years. By joining forces, 100MARIN and CVNL will be able to expand the giving circle, educate and engage individuals about philanthropy and social change, and connect Members to charities, their communities, and each other.

Interested community members are encouraged to join the 100MARIN giving circle and register for the annual event happening on October 6th. In-person and virtual options are available, and for safety and health reasons space is limited to 150 in-person attendees.

Nonprofits champion, protect, and advance our community – when they are recognized and supported for their work, we all benefit. Join 100MARIN and CVNL in 2021 and beyond by becoming a member today and attending the celebration in October.
