1st Annual Heart of Sonoma County Awards
What you need to know about this NEW recognition event
For 28 years, CVNL has hosted a remarkable event called Heart of Marin, celebrating nonprofit leaders and volunteers through recognition and cash awards at an inspiring public event. Six years ago, we brought the same excitement to the Napa community with Heart of Napa. Together, these events have given $1,680,000 back to the communities the recipients represent.
Now, Heart of Sonoma County is being launched in 2021.
So much about 2020 was unprecedented. However, it represents an opportunity to focus on the heart of the Sonoma County community and the individuals and organizations that rose above to do the remarkable.
Heart of Sonoma County will not only shed light on our dedicated nonprofits, leaders, and volunteers, it will give $35,000 back to the local nonprofit sector. Nominations are sourced from the nonprofit and business sectors. A confidential judging panel works diligently to select recipients in eight different categories. No one knows who the deserving recipients are until the day of the event in the following categories:
- Corporate Community Service
- Volunteer of the Year
- Excellence in Board Leadership
- Excellence in Innovation
- Excellence in Leadership
- Youth Volunteer of the Year
- Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence
- Lifetime Achievement
