May Fundraising & Marketing Peer Learning Network:  Fostering a Culture of Philanthropy

Successful fundraising starts with fostering a Culture of Philanthropy that demystifies and celebrates the role of fundraising in the non-profit model, and empowers all stakeholders, from Trustees to staff, to participate in the cycle of giving.

Jaime Tollas is a non-profit fundraising consultant and writer in San Francisco. She works with clients on project-based initiatives to create giving experiences which are both fulfilling to the donor and meet the mission of the organization. Prior to starting her consultancy, Jaime served as Development Director of the Sterne School for ten years, overseeing two, multi-million-dollar capital campaigns that ultimately allowed the school to enhance its program, move campuses, and grow its population by 400%. Clients include SFMOMA, SF Symphony, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and the California Academy of Sciences, among others.
